Fitting

The installation of your new fireplace will be carried out by the person who carried out your home survey so that they will be fully prepared for the work required. The installation should be completed in one day although sometimes a second day could be required. You will be advised of this when your home survey is carried out. We will also advise you of any furniture that may be required to move and if you need to roll your carpet backet from the fireplace.

Your installer will use dust sheets to protect your furnishings. Removing an old fireplace can be dusty but we will endeavour to keep any dust and disturbance to a minimum.

We will also require access to any upstairs rooms that the flue passes through and also access to your loft space to carry out safety checks. 

On completion of the installation you will be issued with a relevant gas safety certificates as well as documentation required by building regulations.

Lastly, your installer will run through the operation of your new fireplace and make sure that you are totally satisfied before cleaning your room to the condition they found it.
